The Houston area got hit with a huge storm Sunday night that left us without electricity for about 16 hours. It was an interesting 16 hours to say the least.
Here is what I did:
1. Got locked out of the house.
The garage door doesn’t open without electricity…and our keypad for the front door died riiiiight when we were trying to get in.
Oh, and we don’t carry keys with us.
2. Ate an entire carton of cookies.
In my defense, Kane and my mom also had some…but I will admit I ate the majority.
(We were locked out and I was hungry)
3. Peed in the backyard.
(We were locked out and I had to pee)
4. Realized time moves much slower without tvs and computers.
I kind of liked it.
5. Felt very lucky that our electricity came back on and that electricity was invented.
Seriously, what would we do without it?
Hope you’re having a good week!
