Do you drink two sodas a day? Try cutting back to one. The same goes for exercise. If you normally don’t exercise and aren’t sure where to start, go walk for 10 minutes. You don’t have to go on a strict diet and an extreme workout program all at once…start small and eventually you’ll get there!
4. Stay away from the sugar.
This is where I need to take my own advice! Sugar is so terrible for you and it’s best to steer clear…but if you are like me, you have to have something sweet every day! I try my best to use fruit to cure my sweet tooth…but if I really need something I’ll have a Yasso bar. These are frozen greek yogurt bars and are only 100 calories each. I love them!
(My favorite kinds are cookie dough and cookies n cream!)
Again, I need to take my own advice here. We all know sleep is important but sometimes we trade it for extra time on our phones or watching just one more episode of our favorite tv show. We have to stop! (Me included!!) I have been trying to put my phone down at 9:30 and then reading (an actual book – not on my phone) until 10. I have found that on the nights that I do this, I fall asleep faster! Try it!
