Gigi is in town so that means we had to make at least one craft while she’s here!
We saw these cute felt trees floating around Pinterest so we decided to make one ourselves.
It was so easy to make and only took us about thirty minutes.
Grey loves taking all of the ornaments off…and then Gigi puts them back on…and then Grey takes them off again…and Gigi puts them back on…over and over…and over.
What you’ll need:
– Green felt
– Colored felt for ornaments
– Glue gun
We started by cutting out the tree. My mom folded a large piece of green felt in half and then just free handed the tree design with a marker…that way it would be symmetrical.
Next, we cut out ornaments. We really made a hodgepodge of them because that’s how we like our trees in this family. For ornaments like the reindeer, snowman and presents, we used a glue gun to attach embellishments to them.
Once the ornaments are cut out, all you have to do is hang the tree on the wall!
We tried hanging it with the glue gun but he pulled it right down so we resorted to using staples.
Let me know if you make one!
