I am a creature of habit. My husband is not.
He likes to explore and try new things…which is something I really admire about him.
I wish I could walk into a coffee shop and order something different every time but I always fear the possibility of ending up wasting my “one coffee a day” on something that I don’t like.
Kane also likes to try different coffee shops as well. Not me. I’d be happy with Starbs all day every day but sometimes the only way I get coffee is if I agree to go somewhere else.
Marriage is about compromise, right?
So, on our recent trip to Pennsylvania, we didn’t get Starbucks once. We tried a different place every day and they were all mediocre.
(With the exception of Alabaster’s in South Williamsport, PA. Go there if you can…it was good)
I know that if I order a grande iced non fat caramel machiatto in Texas, it will taste the same in Montana…or California or New York, etc. This is true for all states…but maybe not countries. I wouldn’t know because my husband doesn’t allow Starbucks purchases while traveling abroad.
I can always count on Starbs to have a good, mellow environment. Great for conversation, studying or just to run in for a quick coffee. They decorate well and most I’ve been to are pretty clean.
3. Cake pops.
If you’ve had them…you know why. If not, try one and thank me later.
What about you? Do you have a favorite coffee shop?
Disclaimer: This post is obviously not sponsored by Starbucks…but hey, Starbs, if you’re reading, I would gladly accept some free coffee.
