It’s been a while since I posted my monthly favorites so I thought I’d round up some of the things I’ve been loving for a “current” favorites.
I got this in an Ipsy bag a while ago and just started using it about a month ago. I am not very good at doing my eyeliner so I am loving this product because it makes it so easy! I had never heard of this brand and was a little hesitant to look it up because I was afraid it was going to be super expensive…but it’s not! It’s only like $7!
I wanted to mention this in my 2nd & 3rd Trimester Essentials video…but for some reason I didn’t. I have been loving this for the bump. Not only does it exfoliate really well but it also moisturizes! Of course moisture is really important for my growing bump so I am hooked on this stuff and have been using it throughout my entire pregnancy.
This is an intense body mud. It would be perfect if you struggle with blemishes all over your body or if you wanted to just do a general detox. Personally, I use this on my face but you’ll want to be careful the first couple of times because it can burn if you leave it on too long. Lately I have been using this as a spot treatment because my chin is broken out. I just put a little on the breakouts and leave it on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off. I really think it’s helping! BUT remember, the first time only leave it on for a few minutes or as long as you can tolerate it.
I first heard about this product when I had my makeup professionally done for my wedding. The makeup artist used this entire line and it made my skin look so flawless. (YES I wore powder foundation on my wedding day! How crazy is that?!) Anyways, this is the finishing powder that you wear over the foundation. I use this stuff over all of my foundations and it just does a great job at setting everything and making your skin look so smooth. It’s a bit on the pricey side but it really lasts a long time. I think since my wedding I’ve only had to purchase this product twice…and my wedding was 2 1/2 years ago!
I did mention this in my 2nd & 3rd Trimester Essentials video but just in case you haven’t watched it, I wanted to mention it here as well. I noticed a few tiny stretch marks on my sides so I immediately started using this stick. I use it about 3 times a day and I’ve honestly noticed the stretch marks disappearing. This stuff is supposed to be great for scars, stretch marks, burns, etc and so far it has proven to me that it works! I highly recommend this product!!
I have such fine hair and it’s so hard to style when it’s clean. I’m always on the lookout for products that are going to give me some texture and this one is my current favorite. It’s super inexpensive, smells great and gives me some extra volume and grit so that I can style my hair a lot easier.
I only have a few home items to share with you but they are really good ones!
I burn this one in our kitchen/living room area and I love it! I am not usually a big fan of Bath & Body Works candles because I don’t think they burn as long as some other brands…but I had a gift card so I decided to get some fall scents. I have to say…their fall scents are the best.
I burn this one in our bedroom and again, I love it! It’s such a great fall scent and I really recommend you stop by the store and give it a sniff. I would explain the scent to you but I’m terrible at it so I’m not even going to try. Just trust me.
My mother in law was recently here and she wanted to buy us something for the house so we got two of these lamps! I love how they look in the living room…the white bases really pop and the teal shades just tie everything in. I am hoping to have a home update post up soon so you’ll be able to see how these actually look in the room.
Thanks again Nancy!!
I’m going to end this post with some TV Shows that I have been obsessed with! My Thursday night line up is pretty ridiculous…although I have to watch everything on a different night because of Thursday Night Football. (Of course)
1. Grey’s Anatomy
4. How To Get Away with Murder
3 of the 4 are written by the same lady…and she is basically a genius. If you haven’t seen these shows, I highly recommend watching them. They can all be found on either Hulu or Netflix!
Those are my current favorites!
What have you been loving?!
