5:00-6:00: Kane is up and getting ready for work. I am drifting in and out of sleep. He is always super quiet and sometimes I don’t even wake up until he tells me goodbye. But he always gives me a kiss goodbye and tells me to have a good day. Most days I fall right back to sleep after that.
7:30-8:30: Wake up and start the day. I need to eat something first thing in the morning so my typical breakfast is 2 eggs, 1 egg white and a cinnamon raisin bagel. I stopped drinking coffee for my first trimester and since I’m not dying without it…I don’t want to start drinking it again. I will occasionally get a latte or frap from Starbucks though. I also post a blog post during this time if I have one scheduled. If not, I just catch up on other blogs and check my social media.
8:30-9:30: Workout and yoga. This week is the first week that I’ve finally felt good enough to actually do some exercising! YAY!! I am just doing YouTube videos for now. On this particular day I did Denise Austin’s 1st and 2nd Trimester Toning Workout and Body Talk Daily’s Pregnancy Yoga Episode 2. I’m still debating on whether or not I’ll get prenatal exercise DVDs. There are so many videos to choose from on YouTube so I might just stick with that. I have to say though, it feels pretty good to work out again!
9:30-12:00: Shower and get ready. I like to take my time while getting ready…especially if I don’t have any appointments scheduled for that day. I have also had a morning snack by now. On this day I had an apple and cheese.
12:00-3:00: This is when I run my errands and get the majority of my to do list done. If I need to go anywhere or do anything around the house…I try to get it done before Kane gets home from work. This is also when I will write blog posts or edit videos.
3:00-4:00: Do anything else I need to do and wait for hubby to get home. If I have a show on Netflix or some YouTube videos to watch, I’ll do that now. It’s also time for an afternoon snack…I had sweet potato chips and guacamole but greek yogurt and granola is a frequent snack as well.

4:00: KANE’S HOME! Highlight of my day.
4:30-6:30: We talk about our days…maybe run to Starbucks or Kroger if we need anything. And then we start dinner. On this day we had One Pan Dandy. An old family recipe that I feel the need to keep secret. At least for now.
6:30-7:30: Relax. Kane is usually exhausted so he’s never really up for much. We’ll go sit out on the back patio and play with the dogs. On this night we enjoyed some beer. Root for me, Micro for him.
7:30: Get ready for bed. Not kidding. Like I said, Kane is exhausted and I’m pretty tired too so I don’t complain! We will climb into bed and do some more chatting or turn on Netflix. Sometimes we will scroll through funny websites together or I will read a book while he works some more. We are usually sleeping by 10 I would say.
That’s a “typical” work day for us. Obviously there are changes here and there…but on this particular Monday, that’s what we were up to!
