It’s time for yet another Ipsy Glam Bag review…and it’s a good one!
The theme for this month was “Beauty Rocks”.
*As always, all descriptions are from the Ipsy website.*
Let’s start with the bag.
This month’s bag is super cute…but it smells!!
I really hope they figure out how to fix this problem because it’s getting slightly annoying.
sexyhair Root Pump
“The Sexy Hair Root Pump Volumizing Spray Mousse helps create big volume by pumping up hair at the root. It dispenses out as a spray and turns into a mousse to give tresses tons of volume. Apply to damp hair at the root to achieve phenomenal lift or to dry hair to activate textural volume. Resists humidity and provides lift, fullness and medium hold. Great for fine/medium hair types.”
This is a repeat sample…which usually irritates me…but that’s okay because I love this product.
(And if they keep repeating it…I may never have to buy my own!)
It literally gives my hair so much volume.
I just spray it into my roots before I blow dry and then I dry my away going away from my face.
Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in the color “Apple Pink”
“Indulge in colors that last and formulas that enrich! This ultra matte, super moisturizing lip balm offers you rich colors with amazing staying power.”
For being a lip balm…this stuff is incredibly pigmented.
I am loving the color and of course the packaging.
The top of this product also turns into a brush for applying.
Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil
“A must for smoky-eye fanatics: an ultra-plush version of UD’s creamy, waterproof 24/7 formula. Create perfectly blended-out or rich, precise lines that are blacker-than-black.”
This eyeliner is so intense!
I am loving it so much already. It literally feels like velvet and goes on so smooth.
Plus it’s really easy to smudge for that perfect smokey eye.
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant
“The dr. brandt® microdermabrasion gently sweeps away dead skin cells and softens skin texture, which enables better absorption of skincare products and helps diminish the appearance of fine lines, acne marks, and skin discolorations. A great at home alternative to professional clinical treatments. Safe to use for all skin types. For best results use with dr. brandt® skincare products.”
I love getting skincare samples in my Ipsy because they are usually pretty expensive. I hate spending money on such expensive products when I’m not sure if I will actually like them.
I tried this exfoliant out last night and so far I love it!
It made my skin feel super soft and luxurious.
Elizabeth Mott Pop! Goes the Shadow in the color “Champagne”
“The Elizabeth Mott pop! goes the eyeshadow is the ultimate eyeshadow that’s long lasting, easy to apply, and effortlessly blends. Buildable colors will take you from subtle highlights to dramatic smokey eyes. With pop! goes the shadow, eye shadow creasing is a thing of the past. Get ready to try the eye shadow that will change your life!”
This might be my favorite product from the entire bag.
The texture of this eyeshadow reminds me so much of the Urban Decay Naked palette eyeshadows.
It’s super creamy and almost feels like velvet.
This color is going to look great on the eyelid or as a highlight shade.
I have to say that I’m pretty pleased with this month’s glam bag!
