Drinking: Spiced chai tea. Of course.
Reading: The ultimate chick flick but in book form. I think avid readers refer to this as “chick lit or chick literature”. I wanted something different than the usual dystopian world books that I’m always reading and this book was recommended to me so I decided to download the sample to see what I thought. When I got to the end of the sample I had to buy it because I needed to know what happened next! So far it is very entertaining, light, easy to read and funny…just what I needed! It is called “Can You Keep a Secret” by Sophie Kinsella. If you are looking for a book that lets you escape without having to think about anything…this is it.
Doing: We are getting ready to fly out this afternoon for a quick 3 day trip. Hopefully I will be able to talk more about it in the near future…but for now it needs to remain a secret!
Watching: Scandal, Nashville and Parenthood have been my top shows lately. Do we see a pattern here? I love me a good drama! I am just finishing Season 2 of Scandal and just when you think nothing else can happen…boom! Something huge happens. I always try to guess the outcome of each episode and am shocked 99% of the time! Nashville continues to keep me guessing as well…and Parenthood is kind of making me mad! I just don’t understand some of the choices…but I won’t say anymore because I don’t want to spoil it for anyone! Grey’s Anatomy will be added back into this mix at the end of the month when it returns.
Eating: Hamburger soup! We made a huge batch on Sunday for the Superbowl and have soo much of it left over. I’m not complaining though because it is delicious!
Loving: The month of February. It has already started off in the right direction and I’m hoping it continues! So many great things are happening and our future keeps looking better and better. I am also loving having my husband home. Since he works away from home…it really makes me appreciate our time together so much more.
A big thanks to Danielle from Sometimes Sweet for the inspiration behind this post!
