It’s time for another Ipsy Glam Bag post!
I have to start by saying I didn’t love this month’s bag.
The bag itself actually smells really bad and will probably end up in the trash after this post.
The products aren’t super exciting and none of them are full size.
But for only $10, I can’t complain too much.
*All descriptions are from the Ipsy website*
Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask.
“Repair and treat dry, damaged and breaking hair with Don’t Despair, Repair!™ deep conditioning mask. Fortified with ultra-hydrating avocado, sweet almond & argan oils, strengthening keratin protein, power-conditioning rosehip oil, soothing aloe, and super hair-essential vitamins B5, D, A, E and biotin. This unique complex of targeted ingredients helps increase hair elasticity and moisture to prevent breakage, promotes healthy shine and luster, and replenishes strength.”
I was really excited when I first saw this because my hair is so unhealthy right now. So I used this right away…and to be honest I didn’t notice much of a difference. I still prefer my Macadamia Oil hair mask over this one.
Sample Size Price: $4.90
Full Size Price: $26.00
Epice Purifying Exfoliant.
“A unique exfoliant which removes excess dirt and dead skin cells all while activating collagen production and hydrating your skin. This moisture rich formula utilizes mild, non-irritating and anti-bacterial cleansers with micro-fine polyspheres which enhances skin texture and clarity for a clean, fresh appearance. Purifying Exfoliant is also great to use on the entire body and after just a few uses, you will begin to see improvement in the look and feel of your skin.”
I’ve used this once and so far I am sold! My skin felt so soft and clean afterwards. The exfoliant was very gentle and didn’t irritate my skin…I am definitely a fan of this product.
Sample Size Price: $9.60
Full Size Price: $32.00
MicaBeauty Tinted Lip Balm.
“MicaBeauty’s 24 hour Tinted Lip Balm conditions your lips without smudge while delivering sophisticated finish. For a sheer wash of color, one swipe is all you need. For a bolder pout, simply apply another swipe and this lip balm will create lips every woman covets. Kiss-proof and smudge-proof!”
MicaBeauty is a brand that shows up a lot in my Ipsy bags. Mine is the color “Natural” and looks like it might be pretty.
Sample Size Price: $7.50
Full Size Price: $30.00
Proactiv+ Mark Fading Pads.
“The Proactiv+ Mark Fading Pads are a convenient, single-use, no-rinse peel pad that can instantly boost your skin’s glow and radiance. The pads help remove dead skin cells to unclog pores and remove dull layers to reveal newer, smoother, more even toned skin. With just a few quick swipes you can help fade away post acne dark marks, reduce the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores.”
I haven’t had much luck with Proactiv in the past…but I also haven’t used any of their products for years. It’ll be interesting to see if these work.
The pricing for these is difficult because it looks like if I wanted to purchase more of these pads I would have to buy the entire “kit”. The kits are $39.95.
Yaby Liquid Foundation.
“The yaby Liquid Foundation leaves an unbelievably natural, super smooth texture and is extremely easy to apply. Mimics the skin’s natural sheen to create the most realistic flawless skin. Oil-free.”
I have already tried this and despite the fact that I don’t usually like liquid foundations…this one isn’t too bad. It’s very lightweight, oil free and matches my skin tone perfectly. I got the shade “buff”. I should note that it is very light coverage though…so if you want something full coverage this wouldn’t be it. I’m going to give this a couple more tries before I make a final decision on if I would purchase a full size.
Sample Size Price: $1.70
Full Size Price: $13.99
This month was definitely not my favorite but I am loving the facial exfoliant!
Total Price: $23.70
(not including the Proactiv fading pads.)
