L’oreal Top Coat in “The Matte Velvet”.
I have been looking for this stuff for so long!
I finally found it and I’m so glad I did.
Basically, it makes your nails look matte instead of shiny.
It’s great if you want to change it up a little bit or if you want to do a couple of accent nails.

I could not find anywhere online to order this…but I got mine at Target in the L’oreal section.
e.l.f. Jumbo Eye Shadow Stick in “Little Miss Thing”.
This is an inexpensive eye shadow stick in such a pretty color.
I wear a lot of neutral eyeshadows to work so I like to use this in my inner corner to kind of brighten up my eyes.
It goes on super smooth and doesn’t smudge during the day.
I highly recommend this and might even pick up some more colors.
Forever Midnight perfume from Bath and Body Works.
I talked about this in another post but I had to include it in my favorites.
This scent smells SO good!
I only have the sample size because I bought it before they released the collection…
but now you can purchase the full size!
I haven’t been back in but I am definitely going to pick it up soon.
I have worn this every day since I got it and it’s just the perfect scent for this time of year.
You can purchase it online, here.
I have three fashion favorites this month.
They are all shoes…and all from Target!
These are the Merona Kimberley Riding Boots.
I was in need of some black boots and these ones are perfect.
They are only $39.99 but in my opinion look much more expensive.
I definitely recommend them if you are in the market for some black boots.
You can purchase them here.
My next two favorites are the same…just in different colors.
I really like to wear flats to work and I’ve been needing some new ones.
I was walking around Target and noticed that these were 2 for $30.
I could not pass up that deal so of course I picked up two!
These are the Mossimo Suppy Co Ona Scrunch Ballet Flat.
I have the colors “Black” and “Cognac”.
I love these flats and might pick up some more colors!
You can purchase them here.
My favorite movie of the month is a very unexpected one.
It takes a lot for me to really like a movie but this one is so good.
I even want to buy it…which never happens!
Articles & Blogs:
There have been a few articles floating around the Internet lately…and they are all worth a read/watch.
The first is “Why My Kids Are NOT The Center Of My World” by Stephanie Metz.
When I first saw this article, I didn’t really want to read it because the title just sounded so strange.
I thought to myself, “Of course your kids are the center of your world…I definitely was the center of my parent’s world”.
However, my dad shared this article on his Facebook page which encouraged me to read it.
I wanted to know why he was sharing an article stating that I wasn’t the center of his world.
And then I read the article…and I understood.
It is brilliantly written and states the harsh reality of what is happening to our youth.
This is a must read whether you have children or not.

The next article is another one I saw circulating on Facebook.
It also has an interested title.
“Marriage Isn’t For You” by Seth Adam Smith.
This was another one I didn’t want to read because I am already married and figured it was going to be about why you shouldn’t get married.
But then I realized that the people sharing the post…were married!
So of course this sparked my interest and I decided to read it.
I am so glad I did.
I agree 100% with everything he has to say.
Please read this post regardless of your marriage status.

In this video, they interview a bunch of moms and ask how they are as a parent.
They are all so critical of themselves and how they raise their children.
Then, they interview the kids about their moms and let the moms watch what their kids have to say.
The result is so moving and will most likely bring you to tears.
Moms, quit being so hard on yourselves!
I found a new favorite blog this month!
I love when I can find a new one and just sit there and read it for hours.
This month I found, The Freckled Fox written by Emily Meyers.
