Happy 1st of November!
*Where did October go?!*
I have decided to post a list of my monthly goals.
I love having goals written down so that I can go back and remind myself what I want to accomplish.
There are a few keys to making goal lists:
– Set goals that are attainable.
– Don’t set too many goals.
– Don’t be discouraged if you don’t accomplish all of them.
With that said, here are my goals for the month of November:
1. Workout at least 4 days a week, consistently.
Lately my workouts have been all over the place! I am setting a goal this month to get in a workout at least four days a week. This could be at the gym, a yoga dvd, a long walk with the dogs, etc. Anything that gets me up and moving!
2. Incorporate more yoga.
When I am consistently “practicing” yoga…I feel so much better. I sit at a desk for the majority of the week and I really believe that yoga helps my back and shoulders. I always feel amazing after doing a yoga dvd so I definitely want to incorporate more of it this month.
3. Post three new recipes.
For me, recipes can be pretty difficult to post. First you have to figure out which recipe to use (or create one yourself). Then you have to remember to take pictures and write everything down while you’re making said recipe. And of course you have to make sure the recipe actually tastes good!
This month I will hopefully have three new ones up!
4. Finish Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen.
My brother read my last book review and then recommended that I read something by Jane Austen. Her novels are way out of my “reading comfort zone”…but I am determined to finish this one. So be looking for a book review sometime next month.
5. Update my blog.
There is a certain update that I’ve been meaning to do with my blog. The only problem is that it looks very complicated and intimidating. I think the result will be well worth it though! So, this month I am going to finally make this update.
Stay tuned 🙂
6. Be more positive and accept the things I cannot change.
These are both life goals for me. I always want to be more positive and I always want to remember to accept what I cannot change.
7. Visit my parents and my in laws at least once.
(Not including Thanksgiving)
We visited our parents a lot last month and really enjoyed it. This month I want to make sure we visit them both once…not counting Thanksgiving!
I will post in December about which goals I accomplished!
What are your November goals?!
