My day off!
We actually woke up pretty early…which isn’t normal on a day off.
I didn’t mind though since it made the day longer.
We had a very calm morning…a little laundry here, some dishes there.
Then, we met Kane’s parents for lunch around noon at our favorite taco place.
The afternoon was spent running errands and grocery shopping.
Overall, our day was casual and productive.
Here is what I ate:
Of course I had to start the day with my morning coffee.
Breakfast was simple. 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg and a bowl of oatmeal topped with cinnamon.
My favorite chicken tacos were on the menu for lunch. These homemade tortillas are to die for.
I got super
hangry hungry while running errands…so I grabbed a Lara bar. *Chocolate chip cookie dough is my favorite.*
I had picked up a ton of fresh produce so I decided to have a green smoothie for dinner. I made a large batch so I can drink some throughout the rest of the week.
I put cucumber, zucchini, carrots, spinach, kale, grapes, an orange, a lime, an apple, a banana and some water in this one. Ideally I would’ve added some protein powder but we are out.
