This past weekend flew by! I can’t believe it’s already Monday and time to go back to work. I didn’t even get a chance to sleep in!
After work on Friday we decided to go golf 9 holes. That means Kane golfed 9 holes and I drove the golf cart! It was actually a lot of fun because the weather was beautiful and it was literally just the two of us out on the course! I think we might start doing that more often. Next time I will either A) bring a book to read or B) do circuits at each hole!
Kane played in a softball tournament over the weekend so we were up pretty early on Saturday. Kane left earlier than I did but for some reason I never went back to sleep. (Which is what I planned on doing) I met him out at the fields later that day and it was really fun watching his games. I grew up watching my dad play softball so it was neat to continue the tradition with my husband. We went out to dinner afterwards and got home around 6:15. Then, we literally went to bed at 7PM!!! That’s right, 7 PM on a Saturday night and we were already in bed sleeping! We even had a friend text us at 11 asking if we were doing anything that night…but we were already fast asleep. Oops!! Talk about an old married couple!
Sunday was another early day. Kane had to leave our town by 8 to get to the softball fields in time so we woke up super early to get breakfast at our favorite place! We got to breakfast around 7:15 and it was actually really nice because there were only a few other people there. After we ate, he left for the games and I stayed home and got ready to meet my best friend for a little shopping! Unfortunately but fortunately at the same time, Kane’s team lost out early so he was able to go with me! We had a really good day catching up with Kylie and we got some good deals while shopping.
Overall, it was a pretty great weekend!
I am hoping the first part of this week goes by fast because we are leaving for my parent’s house Wednesday night. Then on Thursday we are leaving for Seattle! I am SO excited and can’t wait to see my sister and brother in law! I’ve never been to Seattle but I’ve heard really great things so I am excited to see what it’s all about. We are obsessed with the show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives so we are planning on eating at one of the restaurants that have been featured on it! (That’s probably what Kane is most excited about!)
Is there anything in Seattle that we should make sure to do?!
How was everyone else’s weekends?!
Hope you have an amazing Monday!!
