It’s been a while since I’ve done a What I Ate Wednesday post so I decided to do one today! Since yesterday was my day off, it was a lot easier for me to remember to take pictures of everything I ate. I slept in a little later though so I didn’t get in as many meals as I usually do.
Protein Pancakes with blueberries, strawberries and half of a banana.
– 1 scoop vanilla protein
– 1 tsp l glutamine
– 1/2 cup frozen berries (strawberries and blueberries)
– 1/2 banana
– 1 handful of spinach
– Water to mix
I mixed up some quinoa, black beans, avocado and feta cheese for my lunch!
Our weather went from absolutely beautiful to very rainy…so we sat on the couch and snacked on some frozen grapes! (MY FAVORITE!!!)
I also treated myself to an afternoon latte!
We decided to try this “veggie” pasta…but after investigating the box, I’m not so sure I’m sold. It claims to be veggie except that the first ingredient is WHEAT. Plus, it’s just about as high in carbs as regular pasta so I am assuming there is more wheat than vegetables. It tasted good…but I’m not so sure we will be buying it again.
Pasta with some feta cheese. *Note: As far as taste goes, apparently this was delicious…Kane went back for seconds!!*
