Full of nonstop action, suspense, and romance, this novel is sure to move readers as much as it thrills”
I finally finished another book. I started it at the beginning of my last semester and quickly realized that I didn’t have time to read during school. I am on break now though so I had plenty of time to finish it.
The book is called Legend by Marie Lu. It is another dystopian world of course. I will insert the summary from the Good Reads website.
“What was once the western United States is now home to the Republic, a nation perpetually at war with its neighbors. Born into an elite family in one of the Republic’s wealthiest districts, fifteen-year-old June is a prodigy being groomed for success in the Republic’s highest military circles. Born into the slums, fifteen-year-old Day is the country’s most wanted criminal. But his motives may not be as malicious as they seem.
I loved this book. It kept me entertained and guessing the whole time. It wasn’t as predictable as some of the other books I’ve read. This author is very good at making you feel like you are right in this world with the characters. I highly recommend this book if you are into the dystopian world type novels. There is a second book in this series already so I think I just might read that next!
If you have read this or are planning to, let me know what you think!!
Happy Friday 🙂
