I am pretty bummed that today is already Sunday and the weekend is over. However, we did have an amazing weekend!
I started off with Football Friday at work so of course I wore my Dolphins jersey!
We got our new bed in on Friday but we forgot to get a bed frame! So after work we took an impromptu trip to Billings to buy one. We kind of turned it into a fun date night and even took the dogs!
Clearly, I was excited.
Daisy using the door for a head rest.
A bit more serious.
We decided to go to Sam’s Club to get a bed frame and of course I ended up spending more than I had planned on. =/
I always have to laugh when I see Kane’s Sam’s Club card because for some reason they used my last name instead of his. (My maiden name is Pallett and his last name is Nile…oopsie!)
I found this little gem for such a good deal. A girl can never have enough purses!
Caught him off guard 😉
We got home around 9:30 and were so busy until midnight. Kane put together the bed frame and hung up a shelf in the living room. I cleaned our entire house since we had company coming on Saturday. Needless to say, getting up for the gym the next morning was rough but we did it!
Getting the room ready for the new bed!
We got up early and got a workout in and then impatiently waited for my parents and sister Betony to arrive. They finally did though and us girls hit the town for some shopping!
There was a life size moose in one of the shops so of course I had to get a picture with it!
This jacket is definitely my favorite purchase of the weekend! It is a lace trench coat with leather piping. Definitely on the pricier side but it will last me forever and I fell in love with it.
The lace detail.
Not a very good picture but the leather down the back makes this coat even more gorgeous.
After shopping, we went home to get the guys and headed off to dinner.
Love this man!
We literally tried to get this picture about five times but my dad kept swerving the truck and making it blurry! This is the best one we got 🙂
Bet with my mom and our dad 🙂
My love <3
The most amazing parents 🙂
After dinner had to stop to fuel up and when my dad hopped back into the truck he had this cowboy hat on! It was so random…I’m not even sure where the hat came from!
For the rest of the night, we just sat around at the house and caught up. We ended the night watching funny youtube videos. I think we spent a good two hours doing that!
We woke up pretty early on Sunday…(having five dogs in the house will do that) and headed off to our favorite breakfast spot. Unfortunately it was CLOSED! I couldn’t believe it. We found another place that served breakfast so we ended up eating there. After breakfast, we took Betony for a drive up through the mountains. We were able to show her where we got married so that was pretty neat. Once you get up the mountain a little ways, there is a road block because the rest of the road is dangerous in the winter. We decided to get out and take a picture in front of the road block signs and we ended up finding a neat little river too.
Road Closed for the winter!
Such a pretty spot.
Kane looking all cute 😉
Dad & his girls 🙂
Don’t let these pictures fool you…it was FREEZING out there!
The ladies <3
They are such a happy couple!
Unfortunately my parents and Bet had to leave since they have a pretty long drive today. It’s always hard saying goodbye but I’m just thankful we got to spend some time together this weekend!
I am ending my weekend with some coffee and homework while Kane watches the football games.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
