Hello! I am back with another What I Ate Wednesday post! Thanks to Peas & Crayons for hosting!
Kane always makes fun of me for taking pictures of my food…but I think it’s fun! Ha! Plus I like seeing what other people eat throughout the day too. 🙂
I had these delicious carrot cake protein bars for my morning snack! This is a recipe from the Jamie Eason Live Fit series and they are super easy to make. I wrap them individually in sections of two bars so we can just grab them and go! I used stevia in mine and we both decided that it made them taste a little off. Next time I am going to try using a different sweetener or even no sweetener at all!
For lunch I had leftover chicken that Kane had grilled for me last night. I paired the chicken with some sweet potatoes. I put cinnamon, ground cumin, salt and pepper on them before I put them in the oven. They turned out pretty good!
For my afternoon snack, I will most likely be having some more of the carrot cake protein bars! I am thinking for dinner I will have baked tilapia with veggies and maybe some more sweet potatoes. After the gym I’ll have a protein shake with a banana!
