Today I am doing my very first What I Ate Wednesday! You can read all about it here .
I am doing the food that I ate yesterday and it wasn’t a typical day for me. It was my day off and my mom was in town, so we ate mostly at restaurants while we were shopping. 🙂
First thing in the morning I had a pre work out shake! I forgot to take a picture of it but it was just a scoop of protein with 1/4 cup of oats.
Then we hit the gym for an awesome circuit workout!! My mom is healing from a herniated disc in her back and she did so good during the workout despite that fact!
After the gym we went to ur favorite breakfast spot!! It’s a health food store/restaurant. Pretty much all of their veggies are grown in their own green houses, they use cage free eggs, everything is all natural and super fresh! I always get the Sweet Regis Scramble which is egg whites, maple sausage and peppers with a side of fruit and fruit bread! It is amazing! I could literally eat it every morning.
After that we went home and got ready then headed into town to do some shopping! The next time we ate was at lunch and we went to Applebee’s. I got a half size Oriental chicken salad with grilled chicken and dressing on the side.
Once we finally got home after a long day of shopping we were starving!! We went out to my mom’s favorite dinner spot! It’s a locally owned restaurant (just like the breakfast place) and they serve delicious mexican food! I got two chicken tacos.
Our dinner was pretty late so I was full for a while. I did have a string cheese before bed though so I didn’t wake up starving in the middle of the night!!
