Kane is home!! YAY!! I drove in to the city today to do some shopping and then met him for lunch! We are both home now and getting ready to watch a movie 🙂
I wanted to post how I scheduled my workouts for the week. I might post exactly what I did for each workout but I haven’t decided yet. Anyways, this is what it looks like:
Monday- AM: Walk or Yoga
Tuesday- AM: Walk or Yoga PM: Legs (circuit)
Wednesday- AM: Insanity DVD PM: Back, Triceps, & Abs (circuit)
Thursday- AM: Insanity DVD PM: Chest & Biceps (circuit)
Friday- Insanity DVD
Saturday: AM: Walk or Yoga PM: Shoulders & Abs (circuit)
Sunday: Active Recovery
I really like to start my days with either a walk, yoga or an insanity dvd. I’m only doing three days of Insanity dvd’s because my cardio doesn’t need to be too high right now. I might add in some more cardio as I get closer to the wedding, depending on how my body is responding. When I lift, I really like doing circuits to keep my heart rate up. I’m still lifting heavy, just going at a quicker pace. This seems to work the best for me, but every body is different. On Sunday for active recovery we will either go for a long walk, a hike, play racquetball or some golf. Just depends on our moods and the weather.
My water intake today has been much better than usual! I am at about a half gallon right now with 4 or 5 more hours before I go to bed so I am happy with that!!
Hopefully I can stick to my schedule this week 🙂
