May is right around the corner which means our wedding is 2 months away!! I can’t believe it! I feel like it was just yesterday I was saying I had a year to plan. I am so excited though! I can’t wait to be married!! However, I do want to make some changes to my body before then! It’s time to really focus on my diet and time to get ALL of my workouts in. Not to mention we also have our honeymoon coming up!
I am going to use this blog to keep myself accountable. I’ll know that if I have to blog about my progress, I’ll be more likely to keep myself on track! Even if only one person (my mom) is reading it! Ha! But, if more people find this and read it, I hope I can inspire them to live a healthy life as well.
My diet this weekend has been pretty good considering my circumstances. I am at my parent’s house and for some reason every time I’m here, I go off of my diet! It isn’t like my parents eat junk or something either, they are very healthy people! They just usually have food at their house that I don’t have at mine so it is really easy for me to get off track. But, this time I’ve been making more of a conscious effort to eat clean. My fiance (Kane) is also out of town this weekend for work. We both decided that when we get home on Monday it is crunch time and we need to buckle down for these last 2 months!
I have some exciting news though! I am starting a new job soon! It’s at the clinic in the town we just moved to. I can’t wait to start…I haven’t worked in almost a year and I’m actually looking forward to it. I will be working four 10 hour shifts during the week, so maybe I’ll post some tips on how I get my workouts in and move around during the day. I know that can be hard for people…it’s certainly hard for me!
Before I go for the night, I want to give a shout out to Little b’s Healthy Habits. I recently came across her blog and it inspired me to actually start this one! I’ve been toying with the idea for a while now…and now I’m actually doing it! So go check her page out, she has some amazing healthy recipes!!
PS I finished addressing, sealing and stamping ALL of my wedding invitations!! It only took me a month! Ha!
Since I don’t have any fun pictures to post this time around, I’ll leave you with this adorable picture of Daisy (the bulldog) and my dad’s dog, Trigger (the lab). Puppy love <3
